The
Groff Tractor Family unexpectedly lost a key member of its management team this year with the sudden passing of
Alan Fertenbaugh. Alan started as a technician for the company in 1981 and over the next 27 years grew to hold numerous
positions within the company; his last being the Operations Manager for the Ephrata Branch.
Alan
was one of the hardest working, most dedicated employees a company could have. Alan "set the standard" for providing
excellent customer service and worked diligently to ensure that the Ephrata Branch ran smoothly, his customers were
serviced well, and his employees were taken care of. While his passing won't allow him to fully share in the celebration
of our 50th Anniversary, his legacy will help ensure our success for the next 50 years. Alan will be missed as an
outstanding employee, and even more importantly, as a true friend.
